From 1400 errors down to 300
Okay, so opening up all my posts on this page, the active page to be validated, and re-publishing caused me to go down significantly in errors due to incorrect formatting.
And that's just moving from IE to Firefox to re-edit pages.
The next set of errors that could be abolished is the ones that TinyMCE puts in itself, "mce_src", "mce_href", "mce_keep".
The problem is, there seems to be no easy way to be rid of these and they cause errors in validation.
If you delete them, TinyMCE just puts them back for you.
I'm really, really beginning to hate TinyMCE.
Oh, and the Windows Live Writer code format plug-in also inserts many <br> tags, of course neglecting to make them <br />.
This is me starting to believe what I was reading on the forums about Community Server just not passing W3C validation.
But then if Ben can do it!... (lets forget he's a professional web developer who writes these systems and just imagine that anyone else could possess the same powers :).
Edit to add: And I just went through my posts to change all the <br> to <br /> and TinyMCE converted them back.
TinyMCE is not my friend.
