Keep Your Current Comments and Migrate to Disqus
So one thing I might not have been clear about in my previous posts on integrating Graffiti CMS to Disqus comments - you don't have to lose your old comments! I posted that you can comment out the comments section of your code - but all you really have to do is turn off New comments! The Graffiti CMS...

Adding Disqus to Graffiti CMS (Take 2)
Edit: I completely overlooked the fact that disabling the Grafitti CMS comment system would disable the new comment box in the theme I was using, I am editing this entry to reflect that you do not need to make some of the changes I first mentioned! - Keep Your Current Comments and Migrate to Disqus So...

Your Favicon and Graffiti
Just as a tip, if you want your favicon.ico to appear for your site, you will need to place it in the "~/__utility/img/" directory.
Integrating Disqus into Graffiti CMS
Edit: If you've come here to add Disqus to Graffiti try out my Chalk plug-in - Adding Disqus to Graffiti CMS (Take 2) It means a little less coding into your theme to handle adding the system! Migrating from Community Server to Graffiti
So the one stupid thing I did when I was migrating was I deleted my Community Server tables and site before installing Graffiti. Only a few little issues I have with the software, mostly the lack of explanation on how to do things like set up Akismet or Feedburner - there are links provided to the sites, but you'd think a short blurb, or link beside...

And we're back!
So this is my first post on the new Graffiti CMS. It's been a painless install process, and it looks pretty straightforward. There's a lot of options though and I'm not 100% sure about the catagories and what I'll be doing with them (if anything). All in all it's been pretty simple - now to just migrate...

Xbox Live and Privacy Opt-Out vs Opt-In
So I was half hearted about posting on this, and I'm going to make it small, but after Dare posted on Facebook's Privacy issues lately I just felt the urge to post, and I haven't really so I'm taking the opportunity and running with it. Just as an aside - I've written a few little responses to Dare's...

Just Added Live Messenger to my Blog
Not that I expect anyone to use it, but I just added the new Windows Messenger widget to my Contact page on this site. If there is anyone interested in giving it a shot you can just grab the code from here: http://settings.messenger.live.com/Applications/WebSettings.aspx Basically I just added it to...
